21 Days of Prayer + Fasting
On January 8th, we will join 30 other churches in Chattanooga and begin 21 days of prayer and fasting.
There are also 3 citywide corporate worship nights:
More than 30 churches in the Chattanooga metro area are gathering to participate in 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting. This is a corporate service where all churches are invited together to pray and worship together during this time of unified fasting.

City Students Lock-In
City Students is doing a lock-in!
This is going to truly be a blast. Drop off at the Student Center at 8:00 pm Friday night and pick ups at 8:00 am Saturday morning!
(We will not meet Sunday evening on January 19th)
Eat dinner beforehand but there will be some delicious surprise late-night snacks to munch on as well as a light breakfast in the morning!
Girls and guys sleeping areas will be very separated with adult leaders for both.
Packing list:
-athletic clothes for games
-comfy change of clothes/pjs
-bedding/sleeping bag/pillow
-air mattress/something to sleep on!
-extra snacks if you want something specific
Let me or Pastor Graham know if you plan to only go for part of the time.

Passion Conference with 1825
1825 is headed to Passion Conference!!
Passion Conference is a conference designed for young adults aged 18-25. Since 1997, the Passion movement has had a singular mission—calling students and leaders from campuses across the nation and cities around the world to live for what matters most. For us, what matters most is the name and renown of Jesus. We believe in this generation and are watching God use them to change the climate of faith around the globe.
This years conference is January 6-8 2025 in Atlanta, Georgia. The cost is $165 and includes both days lunch and dinners, hotel stay, and your ticket. Payments are due by November 18.
Spots are limited so make plans to join us now for what will no doubt be an impactful time with the Lord and each other.

Parent Child Dedication
IN THE BIBLE, WE FIND PARENTS BRINGING THEIR CHILDREN TO JESUS. HE HELD THEM, PRAYED FOR THEM, AND TOLD US TO WELCOME THEM. JESUS LOVED CHILDREN.
Here at City Church, we value families and love children.
We believe the upcoming generation, like an arrow, needs to be released to tap into their full potential so they can change their world for Jesus. We want to come along side our parents and help point their children towards Jesus. One way this happens is through parent-child dedication.

It's that time of the year for the Men at City Church to gather together to Feast!!
You don't want to miss Thursday night, November 21, 7:00 pm. in the Atrium.

Water Baptism - Your Next Step!
If you have accepted Christ as your Savior or recently recommitted your life to Him, your next step with Christ is baptism. Acts 2:38 says "Repent and be baptized each one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins".

Imani Milele Host Family
Details
The Imani Milele Children's Choir from Uganda, Africa is coming to City Church!
That weekend we have a really cool opportunity for you to help bring Uganda to City. We are looking for 11 households to be Host Families. Here are a few things to know about being a Host Family.
1. All you need is an open heart, two spare rooms, and at least two bathrooms.
2. You will host your group starting Saturday October 26, at 5:00 pm until Monday October 28, at 9:00 am.
3. That weekend you will provide meals and transportation for your group.
4. On October 27 there will be a Host Family and all choir lunch after second service.
Responsibilities/needs include:
Two spares rooms (including living rooms or a space that has a couch) *they provide their own bedding.
Two bathrooms (one for males and one for females)
Transportation for 3-5 people
Meals
Please no cats

Membership Lunch
One of the ways to continue to connect with our City Church family is through membership. Our Membership Lunch on Sunday, September 29 at 1:00 pm in the Atrium gives you an opportunity to meet our staff, learn more about City Church and become members. Oh! Did I mention the food is fantastic!

1825 Tailgate
Football, Food, and Fellowship!
1825 is hosting a tailgate party! There will be giveaways, great food, and even better community all while we watch Tennessee take on Oklahoma. Hope to see you there!

Pray for Me
Details
The Pray for Me Campaign exists to create a vast web of intergenerational
relationships for young people. We see sustainable faith as the goal, intergenerational ministry as the process, and prayer as the catalyst.
We envision a Church that is empowered to pass on a sustainable faith to the next generation.
Because passing on a genuine faith is most effective when we can taste the sweetness of following Jesus from every generation, we hope to see every young person surrounded by a team of Prayer Champions from multiple generations.
We desire to equip those Prayer Champions to pray strategically for the next
generation. The Pray for Me Prayer Guides train Prayer Champions to pray specific, Scripture-based prayers for children or students through the lens of the 7 Essentials — seven aspects of life that are necessary for someone to flourish in living faithfully before
God and man.
And we believe that prayer provides an easy, natural, and non-threatening way to initiate relationships across generational lines.
We hope you will consider pouring into the next generation by being a Prayer Champion.
