Looking Back…Looking Forward…
City Fam!
Wow, what a great start to 2024! God has been doing so much in the life of our church. I am so humbled and honored to be a part of this community.
Looking back:
We started the year off by presenting the theme: Restoration and Acceleration. This theme is all about divine wholeness and movement, and it begins with each one of us letting the Lord work on our interior self. It is evident this theme is really resonating very strongly with many people in our community.
Then, we went into our series, “Deep Change.” This series was right in line with our theme for ’24, and we experienced some very powerful moments over the last several weeks during both services. Feeling your feelings, facing your past, changing your habits, and embracing your limits is hard yet deeply fulfilling at the same time. There is no doubt the journey toward deep change has either started or continued for so many.
Now, as we head into Easter weekend, I will be doing a three-part series called, “Reflections on the Cross.”
Looking forward:
We are so excited about Easter weekend at City Church! If you have not already done so, make sure to check out this page to read all the information for Good Friday and Easter weekend. We are praying that God will meet us in a special way as we gather around the cross and celebrate the empty tomb!
I also want to ask you to be faithful in your giving and serving. We are a family, and we are so much more capable of fulfilling the mission God has for our church when we all do our part.
