Easter at the CITY

Matthew describes Jesus’ resurrection like this…Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to keep vigil at Jesus tomb. Suddenly the earth shook as God's angel came down from heaven. He rolled back the stone and then sat on it. Shafts of lightning blazed from him. His garments shimmered snow-white. The guards at the tomb shook with terror. They were so frightened, they couldn't move. The angel said, "There is nothing to fear here. I know you're looking for Jesus, the One they nailed to the cross. He is not here. He was raised, just as he said. (Matthew 24:2-5)
Easter at the City is always something special, and this year will be it will be even more so. We will gather in the Central Auditorium at 9:15 and 11:00 am to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ in a way that will capture our imagination and move our hearts to worship God. In so many ways, our world has been shaken, but because Jesus is alive, we can believe the words of the angel…THERE IS NOTHING TO FEAR HERE!
If you’re looking for a place to worship this Easter, we would be honored to have you join us. Quality children’s environments are provided at both 9:15 and 11:00.
